The series 840H - Drilled Hole Cage(Anti-Cavitation) valve is specially designed to prevent cavitation damage and to minimize hydro dynamic noise and vibration in case of severe service liguid applications. Also the series 840H-Drilled Hole Cage(Low-Noise) valve is specially designed to reduce gaseous noise and vibration effectively in case of high pressure drop or massive flow application for flexible media like gas on steam. These special trim design has been proven in a wide variety of applications like Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petro Chemical, Power plant, Nuclear Industries, and wherever high performance and reliability is required.
Hardened material and fully characterized design to minimize cavitation damage caused by very high pressure drop. One stage, two stages and multi-stages are available depend on process condition. Linear characteristic is most commonly used but EQ% is also available to meet desired flow characteristic.
Flexible media High pressure drop or massive flow application would cause high noise and vibration due to excessive kinetic energy. ISA recommend to control this energy by velocity head concept. CCI design hole diameter, arrangement and number of stages accordingly. Linear characteristic is most commonly used but EQ% is also available to meet desired flow characteristic.
A variety of shutoff classes from ANSI IV through VI are available to meet application requirements.
Sour Gas/Corrosive Fluid Capable
The wide choice body and trim materials allows the 840H to be applied to corrosive/sour gas services with full compliance to NACE requirements.
Top -entry design and a cage-retained seat ring allow for quick inspection or trim change.
